Eccles Community Choir is an award-winning choir of mixed ability, singing in harmony; with a renowned musical director and a professional accompanist. We normally perform at least 6 concerts each year at a range of venues.
Since this is a community choir, we are open to all adults – there are no auditions- and subscriptions are limited to £135 per year, which can be paid in three instalments of £45 per term. Each term is a minimum of 10 weeks. We meet at Holy Cross Church Hall, 370 Liverpool Rd, Eccles, Manchester M30 8QD on Tuesday evenings. Singing starts at 7.15pm. If you are interested in becoming a member, just come along and join us on a Tuesday evening to see what you think! See the ‘practice dates and concert dates’ page on this site for details of when we get together.
Musical Director Angela Rowley
Angela Rowley is a soprano who holds the ARCM Diploma in Performance and she is an adjudicator at Music festivals across the UK. Angela has been Musical Director since the choir’s inception and she makes a wealth of experience and expertise available to the choir. It’s not just about learning songs – every week includes a ‘proper’ singing lesson for us all.
Accompanist: John Stott
